Among Giants.

This series is a reflection of my time in the mountains. A brief moment where I enjoyed calm and silence. It came after a year of working in the oil patch, a year of 85-hour weeks where days off were few. A year of noise and busyness, labour and loneliness. The four days I spent hiking and photographing in the Canadian Rockies was worth my year of sacrifice. This series is about unwinding, about discovering the Rockies for the first time. I was in complete awe by these towering giant mountain scapes and being in the wilderness was an inspiring experience. The absence of city noise and pollution and the fresh air was unforgettable.
